First thing to remember in our analysis is that we evaluate all the players from teams that will the playing in the UEFA Europa League Semi-Finals. In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers in the UEL that are still in competition. Assessing all the players data, we can generate the ratings for the players performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.
Team Average Rating

𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢-𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬:
Bodø/Glimt (2) vs Tottenham Hotspur (1)
Manchester United (4) vs Athletic Club (3)
Accordingly to our algorithm, Tottenham was the best performing teams until now. While Spurs was, for us, the team with the highest average rating, Bodø/Glimt and Athletic Club were close second and third. Despite that, we can see that all this teams played really good football, with a Team Average Rating higher than the average value of 6.00.
Best Players

All things considered, the Tottenham defense had great performances in the competition. Equally, at a really high level, we can spot Fredrik Bjørkan: Bodø’s Left-Back has been one of the best performing players until the Europa League Semi-Finals! A fun fact about this list is the lack of Midfielders and Fowards in the Top 10 despite this teams having great players at this roles.
Best Young Players

All things considered, the UEL agglomerates some of the Best Teams in the World and their Young Players. Therefore, it’s no surprise that this list already includes great players like Dorgu, Bregvall and Garnacho.
