Mo Salah Shots Map for Liverpool – Premier League 2024/25

First thing to remember in our analysis is that we evaluate Mo Salah’s Shots Map until 29-04-2025 in the Premier League. In other words, we analyse the shots that Salah takes and the places where he usually scores goals.

With the Premier League coming to an end, We decided to evaluate Mo Salah’s Shots in the EPL:

1⃣ Salah performed much better in the 2nd Half of the Games in terms of Goals and xG.

2⃣ Most of his Shots came from the right side – inside the box!

In a historic season for the Egyptian player, we need to look at his shots map in the League. The first significant difference on this map is the difference in Goals and xG between the first and second half. In the second half, Mo Salah has 3x the number of Goals and more than double the xG (Expected Goals). In terms of the location of the shots, there are some interesting points:

• Almost all of Mo Salah’s shots and goals are on the right and inside the box.
• In the first half, Salah only took two shots from outside the box.
• In the second half (largely because Liverpool weren’t ahead in the scoreboard) you can spot some of Salah’s shots from left, a moment where the Egyptian player is looking for space to shoot while offering the wing to Trent.

Looking at the Mo Salah Shots, we can identify a player who is already polished, who realises where he is strong and can score more goals from!
