The Most Dominant Teams – Bundesliga 2024/25

First thing to remember in our analysis is that we evaluate all the Teams Data until 18-04-2025 in search of the Most Dominant Teams in the Bundesliga. In other words, we analyse the Teams in the Bundesliga in terms of their Possession and Shots per 90 minutes of play.

In terms of the Most Dominant Teams in the Bundesliga, Bayern have been the Best Peforming Team by far.

Addressing the biggest underperformers, Dortmund is the clear “winner”.

Despite being in the quadrant for the the most possesion and shots (The Top Teams), Dortmund is in 8th place.

After a season of dominance by Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich are once again the favourites to win the title. In terms of the outliers in this graph, Frankfurt is clearly the main one. With more shots than usual in relation to the possession percentage, Frankfurt’s style of play is more direct and requires a big contribution from their forwards! Mainz, on the other hand, are having a great season but don’t stand out in any of these variables!
