In our analysis, we evaluate the players who played in the Eredivisie until the 22th of March – included (2023/2024 Season). In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers within a team with a minimum of 1350 minutes played. Assessing all the positions, we evaluate a lot of factors and indicators in their games that allow us to generate the ratings for their performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.
In the table below we will present the results in regards to the players and teams. It is important to realise that there is likely to be a correlation between individual success and team success. Therefore, we can expect to find players from PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord with a higher average rating.
TOP PERFORMER PER TEAM: EREDIVISIE 2023/2024:
Regardless of his teammates having a great season, Joey Veerman is the best player in the PSV Eindhoven squad. In addition, we can see that this is the highest average rating in the league. Simultaneously, with a rating updwards of the 8.00 threshold, we can spot Feyenoord’s Dávid Hancko, AZ Alkmaar’s Vangelis Pavlidis and Ajax’s Jorrel Hato. The biggest surprise on this list is Calvin Verdonk. Although NEC Nijmegen are far from the top spot, Calvin Verdonk’s quality and performances are great. Finally, Carlens Arcus is Vitesse’s highest average rating, even though his rating is only a 6.27 (a situation that emphasises the disastrous season of Vitesse).
