NEW SIGNINGS: MOUNT – UNITED

After a not so good personal season in the Premier League, Mason Mount signed with Manchester United (from Chelsea). Being one of the players with the most minutes played for Chelsea in the last 4 seasons, Mount seems to be always fit and available to play. Being a player that can play in the midfield (M) and the wing (W), it is expected that Man. United uses, primarly, a midfield trio of Casemiro, Mount and B. Fernandes. Looking at the average ratings obtained in the 2022/2023 Season, we can’t expect great performances in a Back 4 right away since Mount didn’t perform in a Back 4 last season.

NEW SIGNINGS: MADDISON – TOTTENHAM

In a transfer between English clubs, James Maddison left Leicester and signed with Tottenham. Despite the poor season that saw Leicester relegated, James Maddison was the bright spot of this team. His performances showed that he has plenty of ability and quality to play for a top team. The ability shown in a Back 4 defense reinforces the idea that Maddison can be a player with instant impact in this Spurs squad.
