BEST PLAYERS IN LA LIGA – SPAIN (JAN 2024)

In our analysis, we evaluate all the players who played in La Liga until January (2023/2024 Season). In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers with a minimum of 700 minutes played in the league. Assessing all the positions, we evaluate a lot of factors and indicators in their games that allow us to generate the ratings for their performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.

GOALKEEPERS (GKs):

  1. Álvaro Vallés (Las Palmas)
  2. Unai Simón (Athletic Club)
  3. Rui Silva (Real Betis)

With incredible performances, Álvaro Vallés is the best performing goalkeeper until January in the Spanish League. Playing for a promoted team, it wasn’t expected that Vallés would archive this type of ratings since La Liga has a lot of great players in this position.

CENTRE-BACKS (CBs):

  1. Daley Blind (Girona)
  2. Mika Màrmol (Las Palmas)
  3. Mario Hermoso (Atlético Madrid)

In terms of the Centre-Backs, the Top 3 ranking is led by one of the most interesting players in the Top European Leagues: Daley Blind. As a matter of fact, Daley Blind leads the average rating of the Centre-Backs in La Liga playing for the biggest surprise of this season: Girona.

With a great start of the season, Jude Bellingham has the highest average rating in the league. In addition to his performances, we must emphasise the performances of Aleix García and even Frenkie de Jong since they are key contributors to the quallity football played by Girona and Barcelona, respectively.

CENTRE-FOWARDS (CFs):

  1. Antoine Griezmann (Atlético Madrid)
  2. Gerard Moreno (Villarreal)
  3. Rodrygo (Real Madrid)

In a league with incredible play at the top half, Griezmann has the highest average rating among strikers in La Liga until January. As a result of his performances, Griezmann is responsible for a lot of Atlético’s offensive play. At last, but not least, we need to give credit to Gerard Moreno and Rodrygo, players with huge contributions to theirs respective clubs.

BEST PLAYERS IN EREDIVISIE – NETHERLANDS (JAN 2024)
