In our analysis, we evaluate the players who played in the Ligue 1 until the 20th of March (2023/2024 Season). In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers within a team with a minimum of 1300 minutes played. Assessing all the positions, we evaluate a lot of factors and indicators in their games that allow us to generate the ratings for their performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.
In the table below we will present the results in regards to the players and teams. It is important to realise that there is likely to be a correlation between individual success and team success. Therefore, we can expect to find players from PSG and Nice with a higher average rating.

Simultaneously, with a rating updwards of the 8.00 threshold, we can spot Pierre Lees-Melou. Pierre Lees-Melou is the biggest surprise on this list. While Brest are in a supresing second place in the league, Pierre Lees-Melou’s quality and performances are incredibly great.
