Assessing all the positions, coupled with the evaluation of a lot of factors and indicators in their games, we can generate the ratings for the players performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.

All things considered, Nick Pope was the Best Performing Goalkeeper in the UCL with incredible performances. While playing for Inter, Sommer was also having an incredible season as the clear first choice. As I have shown above, Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel is in third place on the average rating list ahead of Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer, Real Sociedad’s Álex Remiro and Arsenal’s David Raya.

Being, without doubt, quality Full-Backs, João Cancelo, Achraf Hakimi and Benjamin Henrichs are three of the best performing players in this positions. To conclude, we can also see that Atlético Madrid’s Samuel Lino was having great performances.

As a result of his performances, Vinicius Júnior is ahead of all Strikers. To conclude the Top 5, we can see that the list also features top players like Atlético Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann, Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus.
