EPL RECAP: PREMIER LEAGUE 23/24 (ENGLAND)

In our analysis, we evaluate all the players who played in the Premier League in the 2023/2024 Season. In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers in the league. Assessing all the positions, coupled with the evaluation of a lot of factors and indicators in their games, we can generate the ratings for the players performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.

GOALKEEPERS (GKs):

  1. Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa)

With some great performances, Emiliano Martínez is the best performing Goalkeeper in the League. While playing for Aston Villa, Emi Martínez has been really solid and stable on goal. As shown above, Manchester City’s Ederson finished in second place on the average rating list ahead of Arsenal’s GK David Raya, Everton’s GK Jordan Pickford & Liverpool’s GK Alisson.

Equally, we can see that Lewis Dunk, Rúben Dias, Virgil van Dijk and Cristian Romero had a really good season.

Being, without doubt, one of the biggest revelations in the Premier League, Antonee Robinson is second on this list. Equally, we can see that Bruno Fernandes, Conor Gallagher, James Maddison and Eberechi Eze had a really good season.

As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.

  1. Jéremy Frick (Servette FC)
  2. Martin Jedlička (Viktoria Plzeň)
  3. Simon Mignolet (Club Brugge)

As a result of his incredible performances, Jéremy Frick was the Best Performing Goalkeeper in the Conference League. While playing for Servette FC, Jéremy Frick was having really good performances. Equally, we can see that they are being followed by Servette’s Steve Rouiller, KF Ballkani’s Lumbardh Dellova and Fenerbahçe’s Alexander Djiku.

  2. Daniel Muñoz (Genk)

As a result of his performances, Bruno Petković is a bit ahead of his competition (besides Molde’s Fredrik Gulbrandsen). To conclude the Top 5, we can see that the list also features quality players like Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush, Slovan Bratislava’s Aleksandar Čavrić and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Eran Zahavi.
