In our analysis, we evaluate all the players who played in the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2023/2024 Season. In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers in the tournament. Assessing all the positions, coupled with the evaluation of a lot of factors and indicators in their games, we can generate the ratings for the players performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.
GOALKEEPERS (GKs):
- Jéremy Frick (Servette FC)

As a result of his incredible performances, Jéremy Frick was the Best Performing Goalkeeper in the Conference League. While playing for Servette FC, Jéremy Frick was having really good performances. As I have shown above, Viktoria Plzeň’s Martin Jedlička is in second place on the average rating list ahead of Club Brugge’s Simon Mignolet, Olympiacos’s Kostas Tzolakis and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Orlando Mosquera.

In terms of the Centre-Backs, the top part is stacked with quality players: as a matter of fact, the Eintracht Frankfurt duo leads the List of Best Centre-Backs in the Conference League. Equally, we can see that they are being followed by Servette’s Steve Rouiller, KF Ballkani’s Lumbardh Dellova and Fenerbahçe’s Alexander Djiku.
FULL-BACKS (FBs) and WING-BACKS (WBs):
- Keigo Tsunemoto (Servette FC)
- Daniel Muñoz (Genk)
- Ferdi Kadıoğlu (Fenerbahçe)
- Maxim De Cuyper (Club Brugge)

As shown above, in a spot filled with quality players, we can see that Servette FC’s Keigo Tsunemoto archived the highest average ratings among Full-Backs and Wing-Backs in the UECL. Being, without doubt, talented players, Daniel Muñoz (now at Crystal Palace), Ferdi Kadıoğlu and Maxim De Cuyper are three of the best performing players in this positions. To conclude, we can also see that Fiorentina’s Dodô was having great performances.
MIDFIELDERS (Ms) and WINGERS (Ws):

- Hans Vanaken (Club Brugge)
- Jeppe Tverskov (Nordsjælland)
- Patrick Berg (Bodø/Glimt)
- Benjamin Nygren (Nordsjælland)
As a result of his great impact in Eintracht Frankfurt’s style of play, Farès Chaïbi has the highest average rating among Midfielders and Wingers in the UECL. Another case of great impact is Hans Vanaken: while playing for Club Brugge, Vanaken was having incredible performances in the Conference League. To conclude, we can also see that this Top 2 is being followed, closely, by Nordsjælland’s duo Jeppe Tverskov & Benjamin Nygren and Bodø/Glimt’s Patrick Berg.

- Bruno Petković (Dinamo Zagreb)
- Fredrik Gulbrandsen (Molde)
- Eran Zahavi (Maccabi Tel Aviv)

As can be seen in the graph above, Bruno Petković has the highest average rating among all Centre-Fowards. As a result of his performances, Bruno Petković is a bit ahead of his competition (besides Molde’s Fredrik Gulbrandsen). To conclude the Top 5, we can see that the list also features quality players like Eintracht Frankfurt’s Omar Marmoush, Slovan Bratislava’s Aleksandar Čavrić and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s Eran Zahavi.
