In this section we present the European leagues we cover. Therefore, we have decided to rate and evaluate the Top 7 leagues in Europe: Premier League (England), La Liga (Spain), Serie A (Italy), Bundesliga (Germany), Ligue 1 (France), Primeira Liga (Portugal) and Eredivisie (Netherlands).

In this section we present the European leagues we cover. Therefore, we have decided to rate and evaluate the Top 7 leagues in Europe: Premier League (England), La Liga (Spain), Serie A (Italy), Bundesliga (Germany), Ligue 1 (France), Primeira Liga (Portugal) and Eredivisie (Netherlands).

Bundesliga European Leagues

BEST PLAYERS IN BUNDESLIGA – GERMANY (FEB 2024)

In our analysis, we evaluate all the players who played in the Bundesliga until February (2023/2024 Season). In other words, we evaluate and filter the best performers with a minimum of 900 minutes played in the league. Assessing all the positions, we evaluate a lot of factors and indicators in their games that allow us to generate the ratings for their performances. As a matter of fact, in this type of analysis, the type of formation played doesnt influence or limit the ratings system.

GOALKEEPERS (GKs):

  1. Lukáš Hrádecký (Bayer Leverkusen)
  2. Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
  3. Michael Zetterer (Werder Bremen)

With incredible performances, Lukáš Hrádecký is the best performing goalkeeper until February in the german league. Playing for the team in first place, Hrádecký performances exceeded initial expectations archiving the best rating among GKs by far!

CENTRE-BACKS (CBs):

  1. Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich)
  2. Odilon Kossonou (Bayer Leverkusen)
  3. Edmond Tapsoba (Bayer Leverkusen)

In terms of the Centre-Backs, the Top 3 ranking is led by one of the best CB’s in the World: Kim Min-jae. As a matter of fact, Kim Min-jae leads the average rating among CBs in his first season playing in the Bundesliga, especially after dominating the Serie A in his debut season as well.

FULL-BACKS (FBs) and WING-BACKS (WBs):

  1. Álex Grimaldo (Bayer Leverkusen)
  2. Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich)
  3. David Raum (RB Leipzig)

As shown above, in a top 3 with quality players, Álex Grimaldo archived the highest average ratings among the Full-Back and Wing-Back position. Being one of the most exciting players in the world, we can expect great attacking football play of Álex Grimaldo since he is great in terms of technical quality and excellent decision making in the final third.

MIDFIELDERS (Ms) and WINGERS (Ws):

  1. Exequiel Palacios (Bayer Leverkusen)
  2. Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich)
  3. Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)

With, undoubtedly, one of the greatest starts of the season by Bayer Leverkusen, Exequiel Palacios archived the highest average rating. In addition to his performances, we must emphasise the performances of Florian Wirtz and Leroy Sané since they are key contributors to the best versions of their teams.

CENTRE-FOWARDS (CFs):

  1. Victor Boniface (Bayer Leverkusen)
  2. Serhou Guirassy (Stuttgart)
  3. Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)

In a league with incredible play at the top half, Victor Boniface has the highest average rating among strikers in Bundesliga until February. As a result of his performances, Victor Boniface archived the highest rating among striker in his first season in the Bundesliga. At last, but not least, we need to give credit to Serhou Guirassy and Harry Kane, players with huge contributions to theirs respective clubs.

BEST PLAYERS IN LA LIGA – SPAIN (FEB 2024)

In our analysis, we evaluate all the players who played in La Liga until February (2023/2024 Season).   1. Álvaro Vallés (Las Palmas)
  2. Álex Remiro (Real Sociedad)
  3. Unai Simón (Athletic Club)

With incredible performances, Álvaro Vallés is the best performing goalkeeper until February in the spanish first division. Playing for a promoted team, it wasn’t expected that Vallés would archive this type of ratings since La Liga has a lot of great players in this position like Álex Remiro and Unai Simón.

CENTRE-BACKS (CBs):

  1. Daley Blind (Girona)
  2. Mika Màrmol (Las Palmas)
  3. Jules Koundé (Barcelona)

In terms of the Centre-Backs, the Top 3 ranking is led by one of the most interesting players in the Top European Leagues: Daley Blind. As a matter of fact, Daley Blind leads the average rating of the Centre-Backs in La Liga playing for the biggest surprise of this season: Girona. As a matter of fact, Girona is a title contender for the 2023-2024 season of La Liga.

FULL-BACKS (FBs) and WING-BACKS (WBs):

  1. João Cancelo (Barcelona)
  2. Dani Carvajal (Real Madrid)
  3. Sergi Cardona (Las Palmas)

As shown above, in a Top 3 with quality players, João Cancelo archived the highest average ratings among the Full-Back position. Being one of the most exciting full-backs in the world, we can expect solid play of Cancelo in the Full-Back positon as well as other hybrid positions since he is incredibly versatile.

MIDFIELDERS (Ms) and WINGERS (Ws):

  1. Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid)
  2. Frenkie de Jong (Barcelona)
  3. Isco (Real Betis)

With a great start of the season, Jude Bellingham has the highest average rating in the league. With an incredible high rating in his first season with Real Madrid, Bellingham seems like a clear star. In addition to his performances, we must also emphasise the performances of Isco since he revived his career in Real Betis being a key contributor to the quallity football played.

CENTRE-FOWARDS (CFs):

  1. Antoine Griezmann (Atlético Madrid)
  2. Gerard Moreno (Villarreal)
  3. Rodrygo (Real Madrid)

As shown above, in a league with incredible play at the top, Griezmann has the highest average rating in La Liga. As a result of his performances, Griezmann is responsible for a lot of Atlético’s offensive output. At last, but not least, we need to give credit to Gerard Moreno and Rodrygo, players with huge contributions to theirs respective clubs.
