A Glimpse at the Bundesliga 2024/25: Mid-Season Recap

First thing to remember in our analysis is that we evaluate all the players who played in the Bundesliga 2024/25 until the Mid-Season mark (Matchweek 17 included). Accordingly to our algorithm, Bayern, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt were the best performing teams until now. While Bayern was our best team, Stuttgart and Dortmund seem to have lost a step compared to their last season. As shown above, Mainz 05 have played good football, with a Team Average Rating higher than expected.

In terms of the best players in the Bundesliga, the Bayern Munich’s players had undoubtedly great performances. Equally, at a really high level, we can spot Omar Marmoush: Eintracht Frankfurt’s Foward has been one of the most consistently great players in the League! A fun fact about this list is the lack of Midfielders in the Top 10 despite the league having some great choices at this position.

Best Young Players

All things considered, the Bundesliga agglomerates a great talent pool of Young Players. Therefore, it’s no surprise that this list includes great players like Musiala, Wirtz, Xavi Simons, Gittens, Lukeba, Tom Bischof, Nusa and Šeško.
